 More Propaganda By The Administrative State, The Fake News. I've been a Private Pilot for over 47 years now. A normal commercial jet aircraft takes about 2,000 plus feet to land. There was 300 feet distance between the aircraft (about the length of a football field). Landing speed for a commercial jet aircraft -- 240 plus Kilometers Per Hour, KPR = 155 Miles Per Hour, MPR. Converting 300 feet to EITHER Kilometers Per Hour, KPR or Miles Per Hour, MPR then to Foot Per Second, FPS, comes out to 227 feet per second. In other words, the pilots could not humanly avoid this crash. It would take a little more than a second to move 300 feet (and that's for just one of the aircraft, not taking into consideration both aircraft approaching each other). That's if one plane was stationary. It was physically not possible to NOT crash if the plane on the ground was moving first before given the command by Air Traffic Control, ATC, or did not stop before proceeding onto the runway. Move On, Nothing To See Here! So, it takes a few seconds for a pilot to react to commands given by ATC. If the plane on the taxi way continued forward that exact second there would be dead people everywhere. Near miss indeed!
