In the video below, a 11 year old girl reads an exact quote from Crenshaw. "The important thing is that we have societal hero archetypes that we look up to. Jesus is a hero archetype, Superman is a hero archetype . . . (Jesus Christ of Nazareth is fictional, like Superman-- a fictional hero archetype as opposed to . . . ) "Real characters too, you know, I put, I could name a thousand . . . You know, know Rosa Parks, Ronald Reagan, all of these people embody certain attributes that the American people think 'This is good.' "
The little girl preceeds to read, "I've seen you claim to be a Christian. You've talked about God, but when you claim Jesus to be a hero archetype, you not only lied about Jesus not being real, but you lied about being a Christian."
Confused, the little girl tried to get former Navy Seal, Congressman Dan Crenshaw to explain why he would ever associate the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth into the same, or equate him with or equal to, a fictional character section with Superman. Instead of giving an explanation, Crenshaw decided to snap at her, declaring, "Well, I'll help you. Put a period after Jesus and don't question my faith."
Instead, Dan Crenshaw proceeds to attacks her, "You're twisting the dialog. It's not very Christian!"
