Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, AOC, was NOT EVEN IN THE CAPITOL, and she said she heard (at the end of the video) -- 'All these rioters behind the glass of the door' . . . A complete lie. AOC claims to have been in her Office, which is located in the Cannon Building, 1/2 mile (0.5 to 0.7 miles) away from the Capitol. Rioters did not breach the Cannon Building. According to Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC), who has an Office in the same hall as AOC, just two doors away, " . . . there were never any rioters in their hall; there was never any physical danger from rioters coming in at any point." The Police Officer came to make sure people were safe as there had been a report of a bomb. So Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's, AOC, “Near-death experience!” was an overreaction to a Capitol Police Officer knocking on her door to direct her to another building, the Longworth Building, where she stayed in the Office of Democratic Congresswoman Katie Porter (D-CA). Instead of thanking the Officer when recognizing it was not someone there to do her harm, she paints him as a possible danger to her, someone of which to be afraid. The Capitol Police were likely trying to evacuate the building quickly, and the Police Officer was more than likely focused on getting people out quickly. So, he simply didn’t have time for all the niceties and possibly yelled and ordered as the circumstance then warranted.


The Cannon Building, part of the Congressional Office Building Complex, is 1/2 mile from the Capitol.
